Indian Badminton Players face visa problems
Indian Badminton players are facing a race against time as they haven’t yet received their visas for an outward flight on July 6. Parupalli Kashyap is one of those players and he has tweeted to external minister Sushma Swaraj about the same, requesting her to intervene so that the players can get their visa formalities completed before July 6.
The trio of Kashyap, Prannoy and Sikki Reddy had applied for their New Zealand visa a week back and had requested for ‘urgent processing’, as they wanted to fly out of the country as soon as they returned from Australia.

“As we have to leave for tournaments on July 6 to Canada and US Opens, we require passports immediately,” said Kashyap

“The invitation from organisers comes a month before. We were unable to submit our passport as we are in another country playing in another tourney a different country,” he concluded.
Hopefully Sushma Swaraj can get the visa formality sorted for them, as the trio would love to go deep in the international tournaments lined up!
