Inter Milan are currently eyeing Antonio Conte as their next manager.
Real Madrid, who appointed Julen Lopetegui after pinching him from Spain two days before the kick start of the world cup was shown the exit door following a horrendous start to the campaign. He was sacked in October after the 5-1 drubbing in Barcelona.
With his withdrawal, Real Madrid’s reserve manager Santiago Solari was appointed on a two and a half year contract. Even though there was inconsistency during the start of his managerial reign, the Argentine has done a fabulous job to get the team going by making some big team selections in the recent weeks.
Despite produced results, the Real Madrid manager has not won over the fans who are wanting a new manager with a proven track record in the past. Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is rumored to be the first name on the shortlist, along with several others including the Italian International Antonio Conte.
Even though he was linked with a move to Real Madrid when Lopetegui was sacked, the Italian distanced himself from the job by saying “Real Madrid? As I see it, it is better to wait until the end of the season than to take a train running now,”
“I want to wait for June and start again with a new project. In three months I could change my mind and deny everything, but I’ve always thought of it this way.”

The 49-year-old was sacked by Chelsea last summer and is yet to find a new managerial role. There is no shortage when it comes down to offers, but the contract dispute between himself and Chelsea is still running on. It is believed that the Blues have not paid money after relieving him from the duties. Besides, the former Juventus manager wants his Chelsea contract to run down in the summer.
According to the Italian outlet Corriere Dello Sport, Inter Milan are keeping their eye on Antonio Conte after the struggles of Nerazzurri under the current manager Luciano Spalletti. Following the Champions League, Coppa Italia exit coupled with the results not going their way to finishing in the top four, it increasingly looks like the Italian outfit will be willing to part ways with their current manager.
