Released as part of the Los Santos Drug Wars update, the new bike carries a $1,605,000 price tag. While not the most expensive motorcycle in the game, the price tag is still hefty, begging the question, is it worth it?

How good is the Western Powersurge in GTA Online?

The Western Powersurge is a unique two-wheeler in GTA Online that may seem like a head-scratcher to many. While completely electric, the Powersurge doesn’t post a disappointing top speed, unlike other electric vehicles. Additionally, digging into the game files reveals that the Powersurge has the most powerful engine yet. While having a powerful engine is great, this isn’t the full picture.
One of the biggest factors when it comes to top speed is drag, and the Powersurge’s value is fairly high. This is why lower downforce cars like the Pariah custom are at the top of the speed sheets despite having weaker engines. Another interesting quirk to this bike is that unlike a few new DLC vehicles, bodywork modifications affect traction to it.
As of now, an official top speed value hasn’t been determined as snow is still in GTA Online. As a material that interferes with traction and top speed, testers are waiting until the snow vanishes to test the bike properly. However, preliminary testing shows that in a straight line, it is faster than every land bike out there.
Wheelie-ing or not, the Powersurge is an absolute monster in drag races. Thanks to its electric nature, torque is near instant, and acceleration is incredibly high. Its handling will also help players navigate the streets of Los Santos with ease. Overall, the Western Powersurge is a brilliant option for all bike enthusiasts in GTA Online.
