Jenson Button announces marriage decision
Jenson Button is getting married again and he took to Instagram to break the news to his fans. The retired Formula one driver had been dating his soon to be wife Brittny Ward since 2016 and the couple have ultimately decided to tie the knot.
This is Button’s second marriage.
Button was earlier married to model Jessica Michibata after they had tied the knot in Hawaii in December 2014.
The couple though split in 2016 following an amicable divorce as per sources.
“Jenson and Jessica have decided to go their separate ways.
“It is very amicable. There is no one else involved.
“At the moment it is all amicable, but the truth is that for months and months they have been living separate lives.” a source said as quoted by Daily Mirror.
“Things went downhill about six months into the marriage and they last spent any meaningful time together at the United States Grand Prix in October.
“Jenson is sad about it but is resigned to the fact the marriage is over and there’s no way back.” the source added talking about Button’s first marriage.
Button though is love once again and came up with a wonderful post for his ‘wife to be’. His Instagram post read “Soon to be Mrs Button”.
No announcement about the wedding date has been made yet but should be out in due course of time. Button fans would be happy that their favourite driver has come out strong from that first failed marriage and is ready to give love another chance.
