Kevin Owens all set to feud with Sami Zayn at Wrestlemania 34
One year back, Kevin Owens was the WWE Universal champion, and all set to headline the main event of Wrestlemania. Things have gone downhill ever since for the ‘Prize Fighter’, as Owens lost his title to Goldberg at Fastlane.
Owens then went on to feud with his then best friend, Chris Jericho, as the pair fought for the US title at ‘Mania. Owens was victorious, as he captured the US title and had it for a few weeks.
Owens was then drafted to SmackDown and started a high profile feud with Shane McMahon. The former WWE Champion was not happy with the SmackDown GM, and believed that Shane was conspiring against him on the blue brand.
It all came to a head when Owens head butted Vince McMahon just ahead of his Hell in a Cell match against Shane McMahon. While the match itself was hard hitting and thrilling, the end of the match was what got everyone talking as Owens’ long time nemesis, Sami Zayn, saved him and helped him pick up a huge win.
Owens and Zayn have since then formed a powerful duo on SmackDown, and were also part of the WWE title match against AJ Styles at the Royal Rumble. But it looks like this partnership is set to end, with Owens set to face his best friend at Wrestlemania for the second successive year.
The match between the two should be a great one, as the pair share fantastic in-ring chemistry.
