KFC Console Specs : “The Console Wars are over”, New KFConsole details revealed
The KFConsole is here and it is no joke as many of us thought when it was announced back in June. Colonel Sanders is out to the give Sony and Xbox a run for their money.
It was in June that KFC announced that they would be entering the console wars. Many dismissed it as KFC simply trolling but apparently KFC delivered on their promise.
Since the announcement KFC was slowly working behind the scene as well as building up a social media presence in the gaming community. Originally a date of November 12th was announced. Though later it was moved to December.
“Gaming Consoles are made to be Evolved” –
The console was revealed today in an action packed trailer video. With visuals of a rocket launch and a baby in the womb, the video describes the console as the “next level of gaming innovation”.
The most bizarre part of the whole reveal is that you can actually heat chicken inside the console. Yes you read that right. Warm your chicken inside your console. 2020 is indeed a gift that keeps on giving. The reveal and a possible launch of the console is a brilliant marketing strategy on part of KFC.
KFConsole price, release date and what we know so far –
There is not much known about the console yet. The trailer did offer a good look at the console and it is shaped like the famous KFC bucket. There is no announcement of a price. A release date wasn’t revealed yet. Although you can run next gen games like Cyberpunk 2077 and Crysis on it. How the console will clear Health and Safety rules is a question in itself though.
The website of the KFConsole offers more details. It will contain a Intel Nuc 9 extreme compute element along with two Seagate BarraCuda 1TB SSD. The console will also support 240 FPS, Ray Tracing and 4K-TV gaming.
Watch out Sony and Xbox there might be a new kid on the block and it is armed with Finger Lickin’ Good chicken.
