Over the past few months, Kick has emerged as the new badass player in the streaming industry. Giving cut-throat competition to its rivals Twitch, YouTube, and Rumble, Kick is on its way to disrupting the world’s streaming landscape. The new platform backed by TrainwrecksTV recently roped in xQc and Amouranth, along with many other prominent streamers.
What really gives Kick an upper hand over its competitors is its business model, which is more geared towards streamers. It offers relaxed community guidelines and a 95%-5% revenue split in favor of the creators. This means out of every $100 in subscriber revenue, Kick gets $5, whereas the rest of $95 goes to the streamer.
When it comes to Kick’s community guidelines, it’s way more lenient than any other platform. Therefore, it gives creators a sense of freedom to push their boundaries and be as creative as possible. Now let’s begin with all the famous faces of the streaming world Kick has attracted so far, starting with xQc and Amouranth.
How much Kick paid to bring in xQc and Amouranth?
Félix Lengyel, a.k.a. xQc, took the community by storm after revealing his hefty multi-million-dollar contract with the new streaming platform. The Canadian Twitch streamer has signed a 2-year non-exclusive contract deal with Kick worth a whopping $100 million. Moreover, the non-exclusivity of this deal will allow him to stream on other platforms as well, which is the cherry on top. As expected, this news quickly spread like wildfire, as it’s arguably one of the biggest deals ever in the streaming industry.

Kaitlyn Siragusa, popularly known as Amouranth, is the most recent streamer to join the Kick family. The ASMR queen dramatically announced it in the form of a skit video. That showcases her checking out xQc’s $100 million deal, then calling her agent and asking whether she could get a deal like that.
As of now, the 29-year-old streamer has yet to disclose the contract’s duration, amount, and exclusivity. However, according to Twitter user FearedBuck, Amouranth signed a 2-year, $30 million contract with Kick.
