Manchester United vs Tottenham head to head: Spurs will travel to the Old Trafford on Wednesday as both teams chase a top 4 finish.
Former Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho will arrive at the Old Trafford after his unceremonious sacking last season. He has already won his first three games as the head coach of Tottenham and will look to continue his streak on Wednesday.
Both Manchester United and Spurs have struggled early in the season. However, the collective failure of the midtable has ensured that both sides still have the top 4 well within sights. Although Tottenham is better placed of the two, sitting at number 5. However, only two points separate both clubs in the table.
“Tomorrow I go back as the coach of the team that is going to try to beat Manchester United.”
Jose addresses the media ahead of his return to Old Trafford.

Manchester United are currently placed at 9th and have 18 points. A victory at home will see them overtake Spurs in the table who currently have 20 points. Breaking into the top 4 will be a hard task though as Chelsea, currently have 26 points to their name with a vastly superior goal difference.
However, with the year coming to a close, this is when both Tottenham and Manchester United will have to pick themselves up if they are to secure guaranteed Champions League spots next year, making the contest between them all the more crucial.
