Ocon 3rd driver

The Verstappen-Ocon crash has been the most talked about thing post the Brazilian GP, with Verstappen taking it in his own hands to go and settle things with Ocon.

Max pushed Ocon in the garage and the duo were involved in a slight altercation post the race.

Christian Horner has supported Max’s actions as emotions were running high post the race, as Max and Red Bull lost out on a potential race win in Sao Paolo.

While Horner and Verstappen did not quite speak about Ocon’s ties with Mercedes and how he could potentially race for them in 2020(and partner Hamilton), Helmut Marko hasn’t quite shied away from addressing that fact.

“A Mercedes driver who is promised a seat for 2020, the leader drives into the car – unbelievable.

“One could have told him, ‘Hello, that’s the leader, he has new tires on it, do not attack him!

“That such an idiot gets only a 10-second penalty, I would have expected a lock.” Marko said as quoted by Motorsport Magazine.

Marko is making a massive statement there by perhaps suggesting that Ocon’s Mercedes ties had something to do with it. The statement is similar to Mercedes’ ‘interesting tactics’ one for Ferrari when twice in two races a Ferrari took out a Mercedes.

Ocon finds himself out of a seat for 2019. He was furious with how Max conducted himself post the race, pushing him away and has asked the FIA to look into his actions and taking strict measures.

Ocon has defended himself by saying that he felt he was a little faster than Verstappen there and was well within his rights to un lap himself.

Whose fault do you think it was and do you believe in the conspiracy theory?
