10 Weeks Since Stephen Curry Picked ‘Ridiculous’ Accomplishment over Buzzer Beater, Dwyane Wade Replicates the Same Feat: “I’m Locked in for Life!”
Hitting a Hole-in-One in golf might be one of the toughest feats across all sports. It isn’t impossible to achieve, but the chances of such an occurrence are quite rare. Earlier this summer, we witnessed Stephen Curry hit a Hole-in-One at the American Century Championship celebrity tournament. 10 weeks after that, Dwyane Wade accomplished the same feat during his time at the Pebble Beach Resorts.
Stephen Curry might not have won the 2023 NBA Championship but he did go viral on social media for an impressive play. We are not talking about any incident that occurred on the basketball hardwood. During the American Century Championship celebrity tournament, Steph was ecstatic after drilling in a Hole-in-One in the greens. While talking about the impressive shot, Curry went on to rank the Hole-in-One higher than a game-winning buzzer-beater.
Dwyane Wade hits a brilliant Hole-in-One
Dwayne Wade has had quite an interesting summer. A few months ago, he was enshrined into the Naismith Memorial Hall Of Fame. Now merely weeks later, D-Wade has managed to hit his first Hole-in-One during his visit to the Pebble Beach Resorts.
In a similar reaction to Steph, the Flash started to run around in excitement after hitting the shot. Allowing it to sink in, the Miami Heat legend exclaimed:
“Yeah! My first Hole-in-One, baby. I’ve been waiting on this hole for three years. That’s what I am talking about.”
Taking to Instagram, Wade even captioned the clip:
From the NBA hall of fame to the Pebble Beach Hall of Fame 🏌🏾♂️ I might as well get golf tattooed on my body, I’m locked in for life! HOLE -IN-ONE!

Dwayne Wade has done some incredible things in his illustrious NBA career. Maybe this Hole-in-One will motivate him to pursue the sport of golf with a bit more seriousness now.
Wade is now an ‘unpaid intern’
Just like his career on the hardwood, Wade’s post-retirement life has also been pretty spectacular. The legendary shooting guard’s unpaid internship got him to make a visit to the renowned office of Donatella Versace in Italy.
