Michael Jordan represents the peak of achievements, both in terms of sports and success in life as a person and as a businessman. He was a dedicated superstar to the game of basketball and to his fans, and he never cheated. But, perhaps, Jordan was not faithfully dedicated to everyone, particularly his then-wife, Juanita Vanoy. He might be an ideal basketball superstar with an assassin mentality, but he wasn’t sharp everywhere. The taste of fame was pretty easy and early for Michael. In his rookie year, he averaged over 28 points and began his marvelous career. Fame earned him everything, including attention from ladies as well. However, Jordan revealed in a 1986 interview that when he was in high school, he couldn’t get dates with the ladies. 

Despite being married, the Chicago Bulls star couldn’t contain himself and reportedly got involved in extramarital affairs. He was sleeping with multiple women behind his then-wife Juanita Vanoy. Apparently, the reports of the superstar cheating on his wife never made it into the media because he paid a whopping sum. He paid the media under the desk to keep the matter a secret. One of the reports says that MJ once paid $5 million to one of his mistresses. His cheating and gambling problems led to his divorce in 2006.

Perhaps Mike also deserved what he had to pay in the divorce settlement. The divorce from Junita cost him a massive $168,000,000. Well, sure, a man who couldn’t get a date in high school did set a bad example when it came to his personal life. He was not a perfect husband to his wife

A lot of guys picked on me and they would do it in front of girls. He also added that during his high school years, people especially boys used to make fun of his hair and what became legendary later, his habit of sticking his tongue out in basketball and so many other things.

Jordan also noted that whenever he was made fun of in front of girls, they would laugh at him. Perhaps, according to MJ, this was the reason he couldn’t get a date.

However, Michael admitted that since he had joined the NBA. Being a young superstar in the league earns you many things and one of them is getting attention from women. He also admitted in the interview that he does daily chores in his house and also does vacuum cleaning when he gets time. The reason was, Michael thought he was always going to be single in his life. He sure was wrong for underestimating himself.

Jordan’s cheating scandals were not known in the basketball world. Since then, the Bulls star has paid the media outlets handsomely under the desk. In a surprising revelation, a woman named Kylie Ireland claimed that she had a one-night stand with the Bulls legend. According to Ireland, MJ was in a bar, where she was also there.

Seeing that she didn’t pay attention to him, Jordan asked her to dance for him. After dancing, he asked her to come to his hotel room. After confirming with her husband, Kylie went to his hotel room. 

According to Ireland, late night Mike’s friend Charles Barkley called and asked what he was doing up so late. Apparently, Jordan said:

“I am playing the Nuggets tomorrow. I am not worried. They suck!”

The next day, Jordan and the Bulls lost to the Nuggets.
