Mark Cuban Isn’t Sure What to Gift Luka Doncic for His Wedding

The Dallas Mavericks were one of the most active teams during free agency before the upcoming season. Apart from extending Kyrie Irving’s contract, they also made tactical moves to add missing pieces to their roster. However, the news that topped all Mavericks trade headlines was the engagement of their superstar Luka Doncic. In an interview with NBA analyst Rachel Nichols, Mavs owner Mark Cuban acknowledged that he hasn’t decided on a wedding gift for his marquee player yet.

After acquiring Luka Doncic in the 2018 NBA draft, the billionaire has done everything in his power to keep the Slovenian superstar happy. In fact, three years ago, Cuban hilariously claimed that if he had to choose between his wife and Luka, you would find him at his lawyer’s office (filing for divorce).

However, it seems like Cuban’s wife will have to come to his rescue if Doncic and his fiancée, Anamaria Goltes decide to have a wedding soon.

The owner of the Mavericks had a busy couple of days with his team’s front office initiating a plethora of off-season moves. During his sit-down with Rachel Nichols, Cuban talked about the trades before getting to the hottest topic in Dallas right now.

Nichols asked Cuban what wedding present he has planned to give to the beautiful couple. “You know I was talking to my wife about that. I don’t know. I am not good at that, so I’ll defer to her. That’s going to be the hard part, so hopefully, he gives us a few months to decide,” the business magnate said.

“Did you propose like Luka, with a fairytale castle behind you?” Nichols then asked Cuban.

Luka Doncic had a welcome surprise for his fans when he proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Anamaria Goltes recently. He popped the question on the 7th of July, which is the same number on the back of his jersey and their relationship anniversary as well.

The picture of Doncic proposing to Anamaria in one knee soon went viral on social media.

Anamaria Goltes is a Slovenian model and met Luka in Croatia at the young age of 12. Since then, they have shared the same group of friends. They have been reported to be dating since 2016 and she was also seen on Luka’s table at the 2018 NBA draft, where he was selected as the third overall pick.
