In an interview with Rachel Nichols, he talked about the trades before getting to the hottest topic in Dallas – the engagement of their superstar player, Luka Doncic. “You know I was talking to my wife about that. I don’t know. I am not good at that, so I’ll defer to her. That’s going to be the hard part so hopefully, he gives us a few months to decide.”

Cuban also talked about the moves his team made during the off-season. The most important was the extension of Kyrie Irving. The team also brought back Seth Curry and traded for Grant Williams and Richaun Holmes. Mavericks also had the Number 12 pick in the NBA draft, which they used to select a talented center in Dereck Lively.
