“A dynasty in the making shall I say!”: NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins believes the Devin Booker led Phoenix Suns are an upcoming dynasty
NBA Analyst Kendrick Perkins comes with another hot take. This time he calls that the Phoenix Suns are a dynasty in the making.
NBA analysts are currently back to doing their favorite offseason practice. With only five games at max left for the season, they are back with their hot takes. Their takes can range from any topic related to on the court, or off the court stuff that has happened/they expect to happen.
While the undisputed King of bad hot takes is Stephen A Smith, he has been getting quite some competition lately. Recently Kendrick Perkins called the Bucks ‘the dumbest team in NBA Finals history’. Perkins has had his share of bad takes as well. However, he also had another take recently, which actually is not too far off.
Kendrick Perkins calls the Phoenix Suns a dynasty
Dynasty is a word that isn’t used commonly in the NBA world. To date, there have only been 8 true dynasties in the 75-year history of the league. The last dynasty we saw was the Golden State Warriors, who marked their dominance in the league from 2014 to 2019. The chapter on their dynasty is still not closed and would be decided in the upcoming season.
Kendrick Perkins came on camera yesterday and made a bold claim. He believes the current Phoenix Suns are a dynasty in the building.

Perkins isn’t too off in his explanation. The Suns do have a young core star in Devin Booker. They have a rising star and a promising big in Deandre Ayton. Suns have key role players in Cam Johnson, Cam Payne, Mikal Bridges. They have experienced vets in Chris Paul and Jae Crowder.
The Suns have the foundations for a dynasty, but nothing can be said for sure. It all depends on how the Suns proceed forward, and how they finish this season and the upcoming season.
