It does not matter whether you’re a player in the league, an analyst/caster, or just a fan, everyone has their GOAT. The #1 pick in the 2021 draft, Cade Cunningham recently made his GOAT candidate known to the rest of the world as well.
Cade Cunningham picks LeBron James over Michael Jordan as his GOAT
The Pistons rookie Cade Cunningham has been playing well in the Summer League. He has averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds while shooting 50% from the deep in his three outings. Recently he was on the ‘Da Windy City with Marc Carman’ podcast. There the Pistons’ rookie talked about his GOAT candidate.
Cade Cunningham picked LeBron James over Michael Jordan. He pitched his case by saying,
“It’s hard for me to put somebody ahead of LeBron cause LeBron is the best player I’ve seen with my eyes,” Cunningham said. “Trust me I’ve seen all the Michael Jordan stuff, dude is different. I can’t argue with the fact that you think he is the GOAT but in my eyes I say LeBron.”

It would be fun to see the Pistons take on the Lakers. To have a chance to take on your GOAT on the court would be an opportunity of a lifetime for the young rookie.
