"Chris Paul was there at my first finals, this is me giving back to him": LeBron James explains why he was at NBA Finals Game 5 cheering for the Suns superstar

Los Angeles Lakers megastar LeBron James was found cheering for Chris Paul from the sidelines during the Suns-Bucks NBA Finals Game 5.

Anyone who has been following the careers of LeBron James and Chris Paul knows that the two of them share a loving relationship. Both of these superstars entered the league at around the same time but were friends long before they even joined the league. From high school stars to league legends, Bron and Paul have been through a lot together.

For the first time in his 16-year career, Chris Paul has entered the NBA Finals. And it is only right for LeBron to support his long-time friend who is playing at the biggest stage of the league for the first time ever.

Despite getting knocked out by CP3 and his Suns team, LBJ has been rooting for Phoenix throughout this playoffs series. Finally, during Game 5 of the NBA Finals series, Bron attended the game rooting for The Point God.

The Suns-Bucks finals series is as interesting as it can get. And during Game 5, King James graced his presence for Chris, showing his full support.

“I’m proud as hell for CP. I’m here for CP. He came to my first Finals appearance, and this is me giving it back to him. We support each other … We’ve been a brotherhood since we came into the league.”

Unfortunately, Phoenix lost the action-packed battle 123-119. And obviously, LBJ haters blamed him for Paul’s loss.
