Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have sparked rumors about their engagement after the Real Housewives of Miami star was spotted with a massive ring on her finger. The paparazzi had caught snaps of the couple while they were leaving Catch Steak in West Hollywood, California, last Thursday night. These rumors have concerned even Michael Jordan, who texted Marcus to clarify his engagement status. In the episode “Venues, Rings, and Other Things!” of “Separation Anxiety,” Marcus and Larsa debunked their engagement rumors and further discussed their future marriage plans.

Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen have been an ideal power couple together. They have been quite vocal about their intimacy and love for each other, as evident from their shared podcast. Given their strong bond and desire for one another, it wouldn’t seem unlikely for the couple to get married soon.

Amid rumors of being engaged, Marcus Jordan and Larsa Pippen confirmed on their podcast that they were not yet engaged. However, they do not seem shy of flirting with the idea, discussing possibilities of their future engagement and marriage plans. Marcus also gave Larsa a promise ring. Meanwhile, these rumors had also reached the Jordan family, with MJ and Juanita texting Marcus to confirm his relationship status. Revealing about the same, Marcus said:

“And its funny cause when the news started circulating, my parents reached out. My mom sent a bunch of eye emojis and my dad sent text messages, and had a conversation with my sister, just wondering if its legit or not. Obviously with the picture of the ring going around, there is an extra fuel on fire.” 

Michael Jordan’s concern here might be valid, given his skepticism about his son dating Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife. When a TMZ photographer enquired MJ whether he approved of Marcus and Larsa’s relationship, the six-time NBA champion smiled and firmly said, “No!” Perhaps, the rumors of an engagement might have caught Mike off-guard, quite literally!

Dad Michael Jordan might be disapproving of his son’s relationship. However, Marcus’ mom and MJ’s ex-wife Juanita Vanoy seem to have bonded well with Larsa Pippen. Very recently, Larsa posted Juanita on her Instagram story, which might be seen as a bold move by her to connect with her partner’s mother.

In her story, Larsa tried promoting Juanita’s new Instagram account after her recent delve into social media. Juanita maintains a private account with limited followers, which shows glimpses into her life and interests. Juanita’s response to Marcus’ engagement rumors was far more welcoming, which proves her approval of her son’s relationship.
