"I'm just here so I don't get fined": Giannis Antetokounmpo jokes about pulling a Marshawn Lynch ahead of NBA Finals Game 3 vs Suns

Skip Bayless still doesn’t believe that Giannis Antetokounmpo can single-handedly lead his team in the playoffs, unlike one Michael Jordan.

The Greek Freak returned to the lineup for Game One of the NBA Finals against the Phoenix Suns after missing the last two games of the ECF due to injury.

The 2x NBA MVP looked good on the court despite coming off a hyperextended knee injury in Game Four of the ECF.

The Bucks superstar had a double-double that included 20-points and 17 rebounds as he scored 54.5% from the field. However, the Phoenix Suns dominantly won Game One.

Giannis has rather underperformed during all his 6 appearances in the post-season. The former DPOY has been unable to replicate his regular-season success come playoff time.

Post the Game One loss against the Suns in the NBA Finals. Analyst Skip Bayless tweeted about how he doesn’t trust Giannis in the playoffs, especially during the crucial stages of the match. Bayless even added that the Milwaukee superstar lacks leadership skill and the will to win, unlike the G.O.A.T Michael Jordan.

Skip Bayless believes Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn’t possess the intangibles that Michael Jordan did

Though Giannis has impressed everyone by his playoffs performances this year, unlike his previous post-season performances. However, there is still a section of people who believe Giannis doesn’t have the championship DNA that players like Michael Jordan possessed.

Giannis averaged 27.7 PPG, 12.9 RPG, 5.1 APG, and 1.0 SPG, scoring 55.0% from the field during the 2021 NBA Playoffs. The 5x NBA All-Star continues to struggle from the free-throw line shooting an unimpressive 54.1%.

In his recent tweet, while talking about Giannis, Bayless also touched upon how, unlike the Greek Freak, Michael Jordan possessed the intangible skills that led him to 6 NBA championships.

Jordan’s will to succeed and lead his team is what separated him from the rest. The 6x NBA champion and Finals MVP was a killer on the court with no fears.

MJ’s ability to score during clutch moments is unparallel. While his accolades can be measured and compared with future NBA superstars.

Jordan’s passion, drive, leadership, and killer mentality are what made him the G.O.A.T. The fact that he never lost in the finals and never allowed the series to go till Game Seven. MJ 3-peated twice in his career and was crowned Finals MVP each time.
