“F**k you Zach Lowe”: Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban defends his franchise superstar Luka Doncic from comments on him being a ‘big whiner’
Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban didn’t take too fondly to Zach Lowe’s recent comments on Luka Doncic being a big whiner.
Amidst the Dallas Mavericks’ regular season woes, there have been many sources that have started to speculate on what’s going on internally within the roster.
Luka Doncic and the Mavericks did manage to break their 7-game losing streak against the Hawks the other night. However, those same problems that led to that horrid stretch of games rose once again in their bout against Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs ended up demolishing the Mavs by 31 points.
Mavs owner Mark Cuban has always been one of the more passionate team owners across the league. After all, Cuban is quoted as saying that if he had to choose between keeping Luka Doncic on the Mavs, and his wife, he would head to get a divorce in a heartbeat.
Mark Cuban goes off on Zach Lowe for his comments on Luka Doncic.
In a recent episode of the Lowe Post podcast, Zach Lowe and Tim MacMahon discussed the Mavericks and their less than stellar play as of late. Lowe said that Luka has transitioned into becoming one of the biggest whiners in the NBA. In response to this, Mark Cuban went off on the podcast host.
“Fk you Zach Lowe. You don’t know st.” Cuban then proceeded to delve deep into how passionate Doncic is about this Mavericks team.
Good for Oubre.
And the Mavericks are sorry as hell. Luka does whine too much, Zach Lowe was spot on.https://t.co/bVeejWmYol

Lowe’s comments did have some truth to them. Somehow, in merely his third season, Doncic has become one of those players that has influence over calls made by referees. When a call is made in favor of the opposing team, Luka is the first on the scene to wave around his arms and complain about it, trying to get the call reversed.
Doncic’s body language has also been different his season. During timeouts, he doesn’t seem all too engaged in wanting to talk about what the team can do better in certain aspects. He seems lethargic at times.
There is no doubt that Luka Doncic is very passionate about winning and etermined to get it done with this team. Hopefully now with Kristaps Porzingis back in the lineup, the Mavs can string together s a couple of wins.
