Following A $150 Million Loss, Michael Jordan Reportedly Dated Eddie Murphy’s Ex-Wife
Michael Jordan met his first wife, Juanita Vanoy, after a Chicago Bulls game in 1985. He sensed that he could achieve something greater than mere friendship with Vanoy right off the bat and within 2 years, he’d already gotten down on one knee to propose to her.
Vanoy accepted and even before the two would get officially married, she would get pregnant with their first child. In total, the two have 3 children together; Jeffrey, Marcus, and Jasmine. They would stay married for close to 2 decades, from 1989 to 2006.
Juanita tried to divorce the 6x NBA champion in 2002 but withdrew her petition soon after. He initially filed for divorce due to Jordan’s supposed extramarital ways. Things seems to have come to a boiling point by the time 2006 rolled around as she legally separated from Jordan this year.
Michael Jordan would reportedly get cozy with Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife
Michael Jordan had to dish out close to $150 million in his divorce with Juanita Vanoy in 2007. This was the most expensive divorce in history with respect to an athlete at the time. Following this, MJ began to enjoy the single life and was even in close quarters with none other than Eddie Murphy’s ex-wife, Nicole Mitchell Murphy.
According to ExtraTV, in May of 2007, Jordan was spotted ‘soaking up sun’ with Nicole in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. The pictures taken at the time of this happening showed Jordan seemingly enjoying being in her company.
The two have never commented on their ‘relationship’ and it’s unclear if anything even transpired between the two in a romantic way. Though, vacationing with an attractive woman in Mexico right after your incredibly public divorce does call for some intense speculation.
Michael Jordan has since remarried
Michael Jordan met Yvette Prieto in a club in Florida towards the end of the 2000s and immediately fell for her. The Cuban model reciprocated his feelings towards her and the two would start dating.
They eventually got married in 2013, the same year LeBron James got married, and have been together ever since. They share twin daughters, Ysabel and Victoria, and are closing in on 10 years of marriage together.
