Shaquille O’Neal joining ‘Inside the NBA’ after retiring in 2011 was one of the greatest decisions made in sports television history. Turner Sports snagging Charles Barkley in 2000 after he retired from the Houston Rockets was already something they were lauded for and pairing him up with Shaq was just yet another brilliant move by them.

The four-some of Ernie Johnson, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, Charles, and Shaq has made NBA fans cackle for well over 10 years now. Whether it’s Ernie desperately trying to maintain order, Kenny instigating, or the two Hall-of-Fame big-men going at one another, ‘NBA on TNT’ is filled with joy and laughter.
The 2023 Playoff coverage done by TNT has already led to quite a few iconic moments such as Shaq bursting out laughing when Chuck said he was ‘juggling two balls’. Now, it seems as though we’ve been blessed with another one.
Shaquille O’Neal posts a video of Charles Barkley talking about getting massages
With the way these Playoff games are going, the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew is having to stay well past midnight to cover them. This has led to Charles Barkley being very vocal about the discomfort he’s been feeling and the little rest he gets the next day.
So, TNT decided to post a video of a cat giving another cat a massage with the caption ‘Chuck after the show’. Shaquille O’Neal then interjects and says that’s Chuck and Kenny, implying that they will be giving each other massages.
As Barkley goes to defend himself, he hilariously seems to give up in between, leading to ‘The Big Aristotle’ being left in splits. This type of banter is incredibly common for TNT and it felt as though Ernie had also given up in trying to rein in the comments.

Shaquille O’Neal once bet $10,000 on Charles Barkley
During a segment earlier on in the 2022-23 regular season, Shaquille O’Neal put $10,000 on the line and bet Charles Barkley that he couldn’t spell the word ‘spectacular’. To his amazement, Chuck succeeded in doing so.
Unfortunately for the Chuckster, he never got his payment of $10,000 from O’Neal. Seems as though the man worth $400 million went back on his word.
