'His ability to dribble, shoot, three pointers, mid range': LeBron James reveals whether Lakers' Anthony Davis is better than Kyrie Irving

LeBron James gave his verdict as to the most gifted teammate he’s ever played alongside. Spoiler alert – it’s not Kyrie Irving.

It seems like Kyrie Irving has not done a single endearing thing for fans since he made that game-winning shot against the Warriors on Christmas 2016. Woke statement after insufferable one means that his stock is at its lowest point ever.

His former teammate LeBron is among those piling it on, right now. Kevin Love berated him for calling media members ‘pawns’, as did Charles Barkley and former World chess champion Garry Kasparov.

LeBron James explains how Anthony Davis is more gifted than Kyrie Irving

It wasn’t all a bad look for Kyrie as James waxed eloquent about his former point guard on Road Trippin’. In describing the 2016 Finals, Richard Jefferson and #23 lavished praise upon Kyrie.

But then they got to talking about his 2020 championship, and James had to do it to his former favorite.

“You know we talk about Kyrie (Irving) as far as how gifted he is. AD is even probably more gifted than Kyrie in the sense of you add seven, eight more inches of height. His ability to dribble, shoot, three-pointers, mid-range, low post. His defensive prowess is uncanny.”

In all fairness, Davis has shown that he’s a superior fit with James in every way possible. AD averaged more points per game than James, making him the first teammate to do so over a whole season in James’ prime.
