Charles Barkley is one of the greatest players in NBA history. The man was a joy to watch on the court, and an even greater joy to watch on TV. After all, upon his retirement, the Round Mound of Rebound took on a role as an analyst on TNT’s Inside the NBA.

Since joining the crew, Chuck has shared some amazing stories. From his time on the court to some of his more unusual experiences off of it. More often than not, these stories end up with the former MVP in some questionable situations.
A perfect example is a recent story he shared revolving around hotel soaps. A story that ended with his Inside the NBA crewmate, Shaquille O’Neal roasting him.
Shaquille O’Neal couldn’t help but roast Charles Barkley over his story about hotel room soaps
The set of Inside the NBA is always lively. How can it not be? Especially when you have two stalwarts of the NBA in Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal on the panel.
Both men have been good friends for a long time. And, it is their friendly banter, chemistry, and downright hilarious fights that keep the fans’ eyes glued to the screen. Whether it’s Shaq roasting Chuck, or Chuck roasting Shaq people will tune in just to watch them go at it.
Well, on the most recent episode of The Steam Room, Sir Charles shared an interesting story with his co-host Ernie Johnson. One that had to do with his aversion to “cheap hotel room soaps”. In particular, the fact that they are so small and often get lost in places where they should not be found. A story, that had Shaq cracking up and asking questions no one wanted the answer to.
“We’re gonna get kicked off the air!!! Hold on Chuck, what happened with the soap??? Oh, man! You lost it where Chuck?”
This Chuck story is wild 💀💀💀 pic.twitter.com/tePSr5A5mo

It definitely was a weird tale, to say the least. But, it’s not like Charles is the only one with embarrassing moments. The Big Aristotle has his fair share of them too.
Shaquille O’Neal once claimed that the moon was closer to get to than Los Angeles
Charles Barkley definitely took home first place with that soap story. However, in a close second is probably Shaquille O’Neal. After all, Big Diesel has plenty of questionable moments on Inside the NBA, and the first to come to mind is the time he adamantly claimed that the moon was closer to get to than LA.
Shaq: “From here to California the flight is 5 hours so I’m guessing the flight to the moon is 10 or 11 hours.”

Talk about a boneheaded theory. But, that’s exactly why we love both him and the Chuckster. The two of them always say something that gets people cracking up.
