Minnesota Timberwolves sophomore Anthony Edwards talks about swimming in Lake Minnetonka, compares himself to Michael Phelps

Minnesota Timberwolves had the first pick in the 2020 NBA draft. With the first pick, they selected Anthony Edwards. While many questioned the Wolves for not picking up a name like LaMelo Ball, the Wolves never doubted their rook. Edwards lived up to their expectations, as he finished his rookie campaign at the second spot in the prestigious Rookie of the Year race. Anthony Edwards claims he can swim as well as Michael Phelps

Anthony Edwards attended the Wolves’ Summer League game today. There, a reporter asked him about his time in Lake Minnetonka. Anthony Edwards replied and said, “I got baptized in Lake Minnetonka. Backflips, and Jet-Skis.” He then invited all the Wolves’ loyals to come and spend time with him at the lake. The reporter then asked Edwards if he could swim, and he replied in the way he knows best. He said, “I can swim as well as Michael Phelps.”
