“I Don’t Take It for Granted!”: Stephen Curry Addresses Michael Jordan Comparisons Put Forth by Steve Kerr After 41-Point Night
The Golden State Warriors had themselves a Curry Flurry today. Playing in the nation’s capital on MLK Jr. Day, Stephen Curry put on a show for the fans in attendance. After losing 132-118 in the Windy City last night, Steph made sure the Dubs don’t go to the White House with a losing streak.
Curry showed us his pre-injury form in his fourth appearance since returning from injury. He scored 41 points, 12 in the 4th, and grabbed seven rebounds.

Stephen Curry reacts to Steve Kerr making Michael Jordan comparisons
Playing the Wizards in DC, Stephen Curry got himself MVP chants in yet another opponent’s arena. Playing the 2nd night of a back-to-back, things like these can provide some much-needed boost.
After the game, Steve Kerr reacted to the same and claimed Steph to be the ‘Modern Michael Jordan.’
“He’s the modern MJ”

Kerr explained how when the Bulls used to go on the road, the opponent’s arena was half-filled with red #23 jerseys. Now, when the Warriors hit the road, the arenas are filled with Blue and Yellow #30 jerseys. It’s just the impact Steph has on the game, the crowd, and the players that got him the MJ comparison from his head coach.
Reacting to the same, Steph was elated, and said he doesn’t take it for granted.

The Warriors weren’t always loved like this, and Steph has seen both sides of the coin.
Can Steph lead the Dubs to a good playoff seed?
For the Warriors, the first task on their mind would be to get a playoff seeding. While getting anywhere in the Top-6 of the conference is good, but Top-4 would be ideal. Once the playoffs start and the Warriors are healthy, it’s a whole different equation.
Stephen Curry and co are the defending champions, and other teams have to beat them in a seven-game series. The Warriors can get a great seeding if they get consistent with their work, no matter whether it’s on the road or at home.
