Kobe Bryant and Michael Jordan were a lot closer than most people will really ever be. Of course, their games were similar, so that was the obvious starting point. However, with time they shared the same head coach, a very similar career path, and a lot of the same questions about life in the NBA.

In the end, they shared a sort of sibling-Esque relationship that fans just couldn’t help but adore. And of course, all the hilarious stories that came out of it certainly did not hurt.
