Now more than ever, the NBA is witnessing an exponential climb in the number of talents that have solidified themselves as a part of the new era.

Coincidentally with an enhancement in their arrivals, the stars of yesterday, especially the Power Forwards and Centers, have been given less significance and priority. The number of megastars at the position has depleted over the past few years, barring a few.
Considering that the game has transcended itself to be a recipient of the three-point ball. Yet the legacies of some of the stars of the 2000s will be prevalent throughout history.
Revolutionary figures such as Tim Duncan, Kevin Garnett, Rasheed Wallace, Chris Webb, and so on and so forth. The preceding names are some of the greatest power forwards of their generation.
Rasheed Wallace was a defensive anchor for his franchise, with Wallace even being a pivotal member of the Detroit Pistons side that won the 2004 NBA championship.
On the other hand, Chris Webber was a prolific scorer who averaged over 20 points a pretty game over his 15-year NBA tenure. Not to mention, Wallace guided the Sacramento Kings to their playoff successes consistently during his term with the franchise.
Kevin Garnett makes his pick!
NBA champion Kevin Garnett made his highly anticipated and awaited appearance on the ‘knuckleheads podcast’ sit down with Quentin Richardson and Darius Miles.
Amongst numerous other topics, one that stood out was Garnett’s response to a question centered around starting, benching, and trading the three of the following: Rasheed Wallace, Chris Webber, and Tim Duncan.
Beware, the “Big Ticket’s” response might appall you.
Garnett responded:
“Yea imma start Sheed, what’s the second one? Imma best Webb and imma trade Duncan. Cos I know that’s gonna piss him off so when I see Timmy imma get Timmy’s best and that’s what I want, so it ain’t even personal.”
“KG’s” response is hysterical. Considering that there isn’t a single NBA star who has come close to governing over the remainder of the league in that position like Tim Duncan.
The legend of Duncan far outweighs the combined accomplishments of Webber, Wallace, and Garner.
The relationship between Tim Duncan and Chris Webber.
While Garnett’s choices are conspicuously comical, they don’t take away from the intriguing relationship between Duncan and Garnett.
The pair have never had any explicit differences. However, Garnett was an exasperating figure during his time in the league, picking on Duncan whenever he had the opportunity.
Garnett once paid the five-time NBA champion his props though for his subtle ability to get inside his opponent’s mind. Clearly indicating that their companionship never wavered.
An era like none other, though.
