Denver Nuggets’ center and All-Star, Nikola Jokic is suffering from a sprained right wrist and is on the Nuggets injury list for Game 3 vs Clippers.

The Nuggets came out strong in Game 2, after a Clippers blowout win in Game 1. Nikola Jokic led the charge with 26 points, 18 rebounds, and 3 blocks, all while shooting 10-17 from the floor. Jokic went 4-5 from the 3-point line.

The Joker was stellar in Game 2 but that may have come at a cost. He’s on the injury report for Game 3. Jokic’s presence would be vital if the Nuggets want to upset the Clippers again and take a 2-1 lead in this best of 7 series.

Jokic has been remarkably durable throughout his career. He did not miss even a single game this season and the highest games’ he’s missed in a season are nine.

Is Nikola Jokic playing tonight?

According to the injury report released by Nuggets, Nikola Jokic has been listed as ‘questionable’ for tonight’s game 3 vs Clippers owing to a sprained right wrist.

While he might recover in time for the game, he should ideally be on a minutes restriction.

Nuggets vs Clippers Game 3, what to look out for?

If on the off-chance that Nikola Jokic is out of the Game 3, Mason Plumlee would take over as the primary center and Bol Bol would become the backup center. Jokic’s importance against a somewhat undersized Clippers team is vital if the Nuggets plan to upset the current favorites Clippers. The Clippers don’t really have a lot of strong centers to challenge Jokic the way Rudy Gobert did in round 1.

Another player to look out for in Game 3 is Kawhi Leonard. He had a very quiet Game 2, scoring just 13 points. Before Game 2, Leonard had 5 straight games in the playoffs with 30 points recorded and then the 29 points in Game 1. He would definitely look to bounce back and assert his dominance in Game 3.
