Karl-Anthony Towns pulls a hilarious Kobe Bryant impression after leveling up the series at 2-2 vs Timberwolves

It may seem like the most obvious thing to say in the world, but Kobe Bryant is an inspiration to most, if not all players in the NBA right now.
His never say die attitude, his dogged mentality, and his nuclear work ethic were downright iconic. Heck, they are the biggest reason behind why the Black Mamba is as iconic as he is today. On another note though, they are also the reason why so many players look to impersonate him whenever they can.
In most cases, this is the case while players are on the court. But sometimes, they do so during interviews as well. And while sometimes this can be an emotional moment, the other times can seem just a tad bit… awkward.
Why do we bring this up? Well, because Karl-Anthony Towns recently gave us a really good example of the latter. And we’re here to bring it right to you.
Karl-Anthony Towns hilariously deepens his voice to sound like Kobe Bryant during his post-game interview
So far, the Timberwolves have been almost unexpectedly good against the Grizzlies, going toe-to-toe with them at every twist and turn. And a large part of that has been Karl-Anthony Towns, and his adoption of that same dogged mentality we had talked about earlier on in this piece.
But maybe, just maybe, the man may be taking it a tad bit too much to heart.
Take a look at the clip in the tweet below.

And that’s why we wanted you to see it.
But who knows? Maybe doing it helps the man keep his level of intensity sky high. And if it brings us more performances like the previous ones by the Timberwolves in this series, we’re all for it!
