"LaMelo Ball is quite a savant off court as well": Hornets rookie seems to have perfected how to catch the attention of Instagram models

LaMelo Ball is using his newfound fame just as any other teenager in his position – to hook up. The Hornets rookie sems to be using a ‘nifty’ trick.

Following and then ‘unfollowing’ a person on Instagram leads to them getting a follow notification. This gives you a real chance of getting noticed in comparison to simply ‘liking’ and commenting on someone’s posts.

LaMelo Ball seems to have found this trick really useful, and he’s using it to game his way into DMs. Or at least, that’s what this article claims.

There are a couple of screenshots of LaMelo liking posts by Ana Montana and Ashlyn Castro. It’s tough to link either of these beauties to the Ball brother, however. LaMelo is 7 years younger to Castro, while Montana is 32 and has been linked to Karim Benzema in the past.

How Is LaMelo Ball performing on the court for the Hornets?

LaMelo has established himself as a runaway favorite for Rookie of the Year honors. Hornets coach James Borrego was initially loath to including him in the starting five.

But injuries to Terry Rozier and Devonte Graham opened up a starting berth for Ball, who has grabbed it with both hands. The guard is one of the clearest barometers of the Hornets’ offense. He’s shooting 35% on 3-pointers this season, but this figure goes to 42.6% when Charlotte is winning.

Ball is already the best playmaker on the Hornets’ roster this year, and he has his entire career ahead of him. You can expect him to blossom into an elite oversized playmaker like Ben Simmons, but with better shooting.

However, LaMelo would do well to avoid the pitfalls of allowing off-court stuff to interfere with his development. James Harden, for example, professionally regrets dating Khloe Kardashian, as it put the spotlight on him unfavorably.
