LeBron James’ Best Friend, Carmelo Anthony Cheating on Wife, Lala Anthony, Put Her Off Marriage Forever

Chris Paul recently being accused of cheating on his wife, Jada Crawley, with Kim Kardashian has brought to light several other instances where NBA players have been unfaithful to their partners. One of the more recent events that took place in this context was Carmelo Anthony cheating on his wife, Lala Anthony. 

The two met when they were 19 years old and had been together since then, up until 2017 when Lala filed for divorce amidst allegations of infidelity. Though, due to them sharing a son, Kiyan, together, they looked to reconcile their differences and stay together. 

However, Lala had seemingly had enough by the time 2021 had rolled around as she officially filed for divorce yet again. This time, it was final, making her a single woman. Given just how much time she spent with her husband over the years, she took the split quite hard, resulting in her making quite the drastic decision.

Lala Anthony didn’t expect Carmelo Anthony to cheat and in turn has decided to never get married 

Following the fallout with her ex-husband, Lala went on the ‘Breakfast Club’ and kept it plain simple. “I’m never getting married again. It’s one of those things in life that I feel like I checked it off. I can have an incredible relationship with somebody and not be married.”

The shock she experienced when she heard that Carmelo Anthony had cheated on her and also supposedly father a child with another woman completely put her off the idea of marriage altogether. 

During this same interview, she would go on to admit that the beginning of the end of her relationship with Melo was when he was traded from the Denver Nuggets to the New York Knicks way back in 2011. This would mean that for an entire decade, Lala and the NBA superstar stayed with each other despite a slew of marital problems.

If you ask LeBron James who his closest friends in the NBA are, he’d most certainly say Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul, and Carmelo Anthony. Unfortunately for them, all 3 have now been involved in cheating scandals, with CP3 recently being accused by Kanye West of sleeping with his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian. 

Wade suffered a similar fate when he fathered another child with a woman not named Gabrielle Union in 2013. Union even admitted once that she wishes she had left Dwayne at the time.
