LeBron James Called It a ‘Close War’ Between Mother Gloria and Wife Savannah When Asked Who Takes the Longest to Get Ready Last Year

Back in 2022, Vanity Fair decided to ask LeBron James and his family a bunch of questions. Among these interesting queries was the question ‘Who takes the longest to get ready in the James family?’. Initially, the youngest members of the family seemed a bit unsure of the answer. However, eventually, the competition became focused on ‘the King’s mother, Gloria, and his wife, Savannah.

Savannah James and Gloria James came out as clear victors of hilarious award

Gloria James and Savannah James are the two women in LeBron James’ life who have stood by him no matter what. So, it only stands to reason that he does the same for them, quite literally. That being said, it’s likely easier said than done.

Given how gorgeous [and classy] both ladies have been known to look, it is obvious they put quite a bit of thought into what they put on. And justifiably enough, it can take a while to bring those thoughts to reality.

That being said, when Vanity Fair asked the James family who they believed took the longest to get dressed, there were only ever going to be two victors. The reaction of each of James’ family members can be seen in the Instagram post below.

Admittedly, James encapsulated the family’s sentiment perfectly when he said, “There is a close war between who takes the longest, between my mother, Gloria, and my wife, Savannah, for sure.”

To be fair to both women, Gloria and Savannah James have taken their sense of fashion quite seriously in the last couple of years. So, it only stands to reason that they both take a bit of time. That said, we also commend the rest of the James family for being so patient with the important women in their lives before going out.

After all, given how much these strong women have sacrificed for LBJ and his family, they have at least earned the right to take their time to look and feel beautiful.

Savannah James likes to experiment with her hair

Savannah James has become rather famous in the beauty influencer community for the wigs she is known to sport over the years. Earlier in 2023, she spoke to Vogue about the different wigs she has tried on over the years and how much ‘being blonde’ has struck a chord with her.

I’m really having a lot of fun with this blonde… I always wanted to try blonde, but I was afraid to dye my hair because of the upkeep. And then one day I was just like, “‘I’m going to see what the blonde is giving.’” James didn’t bleach her own hair, but she did start experimenting with blonde wigs…“I’ve been blonde for probably two years now, and I like it a lot.”       

Over the years, Savannah James has become famous for the different hairstyles she has sported. So, even if it may take a while, admittedly, every look seems to be beyond worth it.
