“My GIRL!”: Shaquille O’Neal’s 6ft 3″ Daughter Me’Arah Gets Love from Mother Shaunie and Brother Shareef After ‘Balling Out’ at Wootten Camp
Shaquille O’Neal shocked a lot of people when he once claimed that his youngest daughter Me’Arah O’Neal is the most talented hooper in the family. The 17-year-old has been showing fans for quite some time now why her Hall-of-Famer father made such a bold assessment. Me’Arah recently balled her heart out at Coach Wootten’s basketball camp. After her brilliant performance on the hardwood, the AAU star received some love and support from her mother Shaunie Henderson and brother Shareef O’Neal.
Me’Arah O’Neal is a top 50 prospect in her draft class and has been courted by many major programs already. The four-star prospect has been touted as a 2024 LSU target by reports. Programs like Baylor, Kentucky, and Alabama, among others, have also offered O’Neal scholarships for next year.

Me’Arah also showed off her handles and made some tough shots on the dribble. Her blockbuster performance prompted a lot of appreciation from fans and family. Shaq’s former wife and Me’Arah’s mother, Shaunie, shared the highlight reel on her Instagram stories-her pride in her daughter quite evident from the caption: “MY GIRL![heart emoji]”

Her brother Shareef also shared the clip on his Instagram. The NBA G-League Ignite star seemed pretty proud of his little sister as well.
Me’Arah’s unique combination of size and skill makes her a dangerous player
Me’Arah O’Neal is a very different player from her legendary father Shaquille O’Neal. However, if she shares any similarity with the big man, it’s his unique combination of size and skill.
At 6ft3″, Me’Arah has a distinct size advantage over her peers. Besides, unlike her superstar father, she knows how to drain a jump shot. Not only can the four-star prospect drain threes from deep, she can also be lethal from mid-range. There’s a reason why so many top basketball programs have shown interest in her.
After her performance at coach Wootten’s prestigious camp, Me’Arah has further raised the expectations on her. Fans would be looking forward to seeing her in an elite program like LSU next year. She would certainly be a distinct addition to the O’Neal legacy there, after her father and brother made their mark during their D1 stints.
