Pelicans vs Kings TV Schedule

New Orleans Pelicans (29-38) will face Sacramento Kings (28-39) in the opening match today. Here we look at the Match Preview and TV Schedule for the game.

NBA action has kept fans on the edge of the seat for the first week. On day 8 of the restart in Walt Disney World, Orlando, Florida 6 matches will be played across 3 arenas. The seeding games are halfway through and the picture is still not clear, things will go down to the wire as contests are heating up with unpredictable results.

The eighth seed in the west has its own tournament going on, and it seems Kings and Pelicans both are losing their chances for the Playoffs.

The two sides have disappointed their fans as Kings have lost all its three contests whereas Pelicans has only one win under their belt in three games.

Pelicans are on 11th spot with 29 wins and Kings are on 13th place with 28 wins in the West. A win for Kings will put four teams in a similar condition, as then Suns, Spurs, Pelicans, and Kings will have 29 wins apiece, which is an advantage for Grizzlies with 32 wins and Blazers with 31 wins.

But if Pelicans walked away with a win tonight then it would come close to Blazers making things more complicated for other teams.

Pelicans vs Kings Preview

Kings (0-3) are in search of their first win of the bubble restart, Pelicans on other hand defeated Grizzlies 109-99 in the previous game to open their winning account.

Pelicans absolutely need Zion Williamson to set the stage on fire in the next few games, if they are to have any chance of making it to the play-in tournament and then the playoffs. Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball have been playing second fiddle to Zion, but together, these 3 haven’t really inspired a lot of confidence.

Sacramento Kings players are struggling to find their form in the bubble. Buddy Hield and De’Aaron Fox are the only players who are performing. The duo has scored almost half of the total points of Kings in the previous three games. Both have scored 151 points out of 346 points.

The side needs support from other players like Harrison Barnes, Nemanja Bjelica, and Cory Joseph if they want a win against pelicans today.

Pelicans will go as favorites for the game as they have that winning momentum and the confidence that can outperform winless Kings.
