Shaquille O’Neal was a guest on the Daily Pop show a couple of years back. He was on air to promote his line of JCPenney suits – an opportunity he used to provide us all some entertainment.

The Lakers legend seized a chance through the middle of the interview to begin flirting with guest host Rocsi. The Honduras-born television personality is indeed a beautiful woman, so Shaq shot his best shot while creating an internet moment.

“I’ll never be sad and pouting with you sitting over there. You’re in my DMs, I can’t even tell all of you what she’s saying. You know what she says? She says even though I’m Spanish I still like that chocolate. And I tell her once you go Shaq, you never go back.”

“So you owe me a date for that. Italian food at Manhattan beach. Can you please stay out of my DMs? You see how she keeps looking at me? These are the pictures that she sends me in my DMs.”

He did clarify at the end of the clip that he was staging all of this and not actually flirting with the 36-year-old. But we’d like to believe that in his heart of hearts, Shaq really was hoping she’d agree to the date.
