Cleveland Cavaliers’ veteran big Kevin Love throws the ball out of frustration, causes a turnover and a subsequent three-pointer

A short-staffed Cavaliers team made their way to Tampa Bay last night. They played the Toronto Raptors for their second match of a back-to-back. With seven different members out due to different reasons, including scoring leader Collin Sexton, it was an uphill task for the Cavs.
After a hard-fought first half, the Cavs only trailed by one. Late in the third frame, it was just a two-possession game, when a temper tantrum by Kevin Love caused a turnover. That resulted in an open three, and the game getting further out of the Cavs’ reach.

In a span of 45 seconds, with Love still showing his frustration, the Raptors extended their lead from four to eleven. Eventually, it resulted in a 112-96 loss for the Cavaliers.
NBA Twitter reacts to Kevin Love throwing his tantrum
Kevin Love signed a 4 year, $120 million deal with the Cavaliers in 2019-20. Love knew what he was committing himself to, with the Cavs clearly going for a rebuild. They have acquired some really good young players, who with some time and grooming, can take the Cavs back to the playoff races. However, being the senior-most player on the team, and throwing tantrums of that sort do not suit Love.
NBA twitter sure had a lot to say about the same.

One of the first comments was about how all the LeBron haters claim that Love carried LBJ in the Finals. Love at best was an important part of the team, but it was always the LeBron James show through and through in Cleveland.
Another user says that this kind of behavior should lead to salary deduction or more serious punishment.
Some sympathized with Love, and how the Cavs have limited his chances to compete at the higher levels.
Others claimed Love knew what he was getting himself into when he signed his extension and has no right to complain while minting those big bucks.
Whatever the case may be, the behavior shown by Kevin Love was unprofessional, and should not have happened.
