“Scottie Pippen was in his feelings when Phil Jackson drew it up for Toni Kukoc, a better shooter”: Kevin Durant roasts Bulls legend for his ‘team player’ take regarding the Nets star
Scottie Pippen came after Kevin Durant, calling the superstar out for not being like LeBron. Durant had some words for Pippen, firing back on Twitter.
Scottie Pippen took some heated shots at Durant after the Nets lost their series to the Milwaukee Bucks. Pippen’s biggest point of emphasis was that Durant wasn’t the team player LeBron.
So, while Durant may be the superior offensive player, he’ll never touch LeBron because of his inability to play with his team, according to Pippen.

Durant, a big social media presence, didn’t take too lightly to Pippen’s comments and had some words of his own for the Bulls legend.
Kevin Durant Calls Out Scottie Pippen For Being Jealous Toni Kukoc Got The Last Shot
Durant had a savage response to Scottie Pippen’s tweets which called him out. Back in 1994, the Bulls were playing the first of their seasons without Michael Jordan.
The Bulls legend had just announced his retirement from the NBA (the first time), and the Bulls were getting used to life without him. In fact, they even made the playoffs again with a chance to go back to the NBA Finals.
In game three of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, the Bulls found themselves needing a big shot to pull out a victory against the New York Knicks.
The Bulls’ best shooter was arguable Toni Kukoc at the time, and so in a timeout, Phil Jackson (then Bulls head coach) drew up a play for Kukoc to get the last shot. Pippen didn’t respond well to this and chose to sit out the final play despite being the Bulls best player and supposed leader that year.
Kevin Durant is well aware of this story, and he made sure the rest of the world remembered it too, firing back at Scottie Pippen in absolutely savage way on Twitter.
Didn’t the great Scottie pippen refuse to go in the game for the last second shot because he was in his feelings his coach drew up the play for a better shooter??

Definitely looks like Kevin Durant wins this round for now, Scottie.
