“Stephen Curry Came In Like a Thief in the Night!”: Ayesha Curry Recalls $160 Million Star’s Embarrassing 1st Attempt at Kissing Her
Stephen Curry and Ayesha Curry are one of the most influential power couples in the world. The Warriors’ superstar has a huge fan following, and he serves as a great example of how one should lead their home life and work life both.
Steph and Ayesha met in a church group when they were teenagers. Even though they both liked each other, they never asked each other out. In an interview with Parents magazine, Steph shared why he never asked Ayesha out.
“I always had my eye on her, but I got a little shaken, for sure.”
On the other hand, Ayesha revealed how she wasn’t allowed to date in high school.
“I wasn’t allowed to date in high school. We always laugh that we were both focused on God.”
Their first date happened when Steph was at Davidson and was attending the ESPYs in Los Angeles. Ayesha was in LA pursuing an acting career, and the two decided to go out.
Stephen Curry struck out while trying to kiss Ayesha for the first time
During their date in LA, Steph decided it was time he didn’t miss his shot with his childhood crush. However, his attempt at kissing Ayesha was far from perfect. Talking about their time on the date, Ayesha said,
“I mean, it was friend vibes … until I dodged his first kiss. He was in mid-conversation and came flying at my face like a thief in the night. So I was like, No. Then I thought, “Oh, I didn’t know this is what was happening.”
Ayesha did give Steph a second attempt, and he made sure he didn’t miss. Fast forward to today, and they’ve been married for more than 11 years. Stephen Curry and Ayesha have three beautiful children together, Riley, Ryan, and Canon.
