Stephen Curry’s wife Ayesha Curry reveals how the home life has been like with her husband breaking NBA records on a nightly basis.

Welcome back Mr. Wardell Stephen Curry II! It had been a while since fans of the NBA could fully appreciate how great, the greatest shooter of all time is. A few seasons ago, when Kevin Durant came in, the ball was taken out of the baby-faced assassin’s hands.

Last season, it was a freak left-hand injury. But finally, despite suffering a tail-bone injury in the middle, Curry has been given a chance to show off. And boy is he showing off.

The player currently leads the league in scoring and is squarely in the hunt for the scoring title this season. And if he won, Curry would become the oldest player since MJ to have won a scoring title. His Airness did it at 35.

Steph has also come dangerously close to shattering the record for the highest threes scored in a single game. His fellow splash brother Klay Thompson currently holds the record with 14. And he looked more than just a little relieved when the two-time MVP was sat for the rest of the game.

With all these frankly MVP caliber performances, a celebratory mood would be expected at the Curry house. But recently, the player’s wife Ayesha revealed some very surprising details on the topic.

“He just wants some popcorn”: Ayesha Curry reveals how Stephen Curry reacts to his own record-breaking performances

Not many in the NBA community need much of an introduction to Ayesha Curry. Stephen Curry’s lovable wife and family have a fan following of their own online, and often reveal tidbits and stories about their life. And on a recent interview with Ellen DeGeneres, Ayesha revealed another little anecdote.

“It’s insane. And he’s one of the older guys out there now, believe it or not. It’s been really cool to watch him break all these records and do it with such humility, and humbleness. He comes home, and it’s like it never happened. He just wants some popcorn and some candy.”

The humility of Stephen Curry is outstanding. For most people, a record-breaking night is cause for celebration. But for him to treat it like any other night, speaks to the kind of human Steph is.

Even when he’s off the court, it seems Stephen Curry can’t stop amazing the NBA community.
