Brandon Miller made headlines on Draft Day after he was selected as the second overall pick by the Charlotte Hornets, ahead of Scoot Henderson. Before Miller was drafted by Michael Jordan, he was audacious enough to trash-talk Michael Jordan during a workout session. Meanwhile, the 20-year-old targeted yet another frontrunner for the basketball GOAT title recently. During an appearance on Paul George’s Podcast P, the former Alabama star expressed his desire to dunk on LeBron James.

Miller recently went viral on social media for an incident that occurred during the Summer League. No, it was not an highlight reel or a poster dunk. In fact, the rookie got ripped on social media for not knowing who Khris Middleton was. After getting stuck in some serious backlash, the Forward decided to clear the air. During an interview, the youngster revealed that he was merely trolling the media “for fun”.
Brandon Miller wants to dunk on LeBron James
During one point in the must-see podcast episode, Brandon Miller spoke about dunking on everyone who stood under the rim. Soon after, the 6-feet-9 star expressed his desire of dunking on LeBron James. According to Miller, he’d catch the King on a putback dunk when the latter is not paying attention. Miller told PG during the podcast:
“If you under there (the rim), somebody gon’ get dunked on. But I think the main person, probably Bron. I’d catch Bron slippin…I think I’d catch the motherf**ker on a putback dunk. Sometime, he’s lurking down there and not really paying attention.”
This isn’t the first time Miller has spoken about dunking on the four-time NBA Champion. During Draft Day, the 20-year-old was one of seven rookies who picked James as the one player they’d want to dunk on in the NBA. Take a look at @BronGotGame’s tweet.

It’s funny how Miller hasn’t even played his first NBA minutes yet and has yet managed to enrage fans with some of his antics, like trash-talking MJ, wanting to dunk on Bron, and calling Paul George his GOAT.
However, Miller defended trash-talking MJ by claiming that the Bulls legend first started the banter. Therefore, the rookie returned the favor when Jordan missed a free throw.
Paul George claims Miller is like his younger brother
Prior to Draft Day, Miller was all over social media for his comments on the GOAT debate. Dismissing LeBron as well as Jordan, the rookie Forward named Paul George as his GOAT, “I actually don’t think LeBron is the GOAT of basketball. My GOAT of basketball is Paul George.”
Merely a few weeks later, Miller made his appearance on his GOAT pick’s podcast. He also felt validated when George called him ‘lil bro’.
“I feel like you really like my lil bro, dawg. Giving that lil bro energy. I love it.”
It’ll be interesting to see if the mentor-mentee relationship between PG and Miller flourishes as the season progresses.
