A few weeks ago, the Pro Football Hall of Fame and Shannon Sharpe appeared on Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce‘s podcast, ‘New Heights.’ There, the three individuals talked about how Skip Bayless, who is a co-host with Shannon Sharpe on their hit show UNDISPUTED, won’t be able to gain a yard in the NFL.

The former Denver Broncos tight end was adamant about this. He was of the opinion that the offensive line would block him and not let him gain a yard. Skip Bayless shortly heard this discourse and was quick to fire back at the Kelce brothers, who could not stop themselves from laughing at Sharpe’s comments.

The NFL veteran analyst addressed the two-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback Travis Kelce and his Philadelphia Eagles center brother Jason Kelce on the Skip Bayless Show.

Skip Bayless hits back at the Kelce brothers for undermining him

Could they even make it one mile? Angry Skip said while challenging Travis and Jason for a race. “I seriously doubt Jason couldn’t even make it a quarter of a mile. But Travis could make it one mile. I mean, he can run all day. He is a professional athlete. He is the best passing tight end for me ever,” he added.

The analyst might have forgotten that it was Sharpe who made those claims and not the Kelce brothers. Therefore, it would have made more sense if he had challenged Sharp to a race instead of Jason or Travis Kelce. Or did Skip deliberately avoid challenging Sharpe as he ultimately has to sit across him on the UNDISPUTED table?

Is there bad blood between Sharpe and Bayless?

The hosts, who had worked with each other for over six years, recently had a falling out which caused Sharpe to leave Bayless. Just incredibly frustrated with his co-host, Shannon ended up leaving Skip to do the show alone.

The source of the conflict between Sharpe and Bayless seemed to stem from a controversial tweet by Bayless in January which earned him a lot of backlash, leading to Sharpe leaving the show for two months. This resulted in rumors of a widening gap between the two hosts.

However, in a recent interview, Sharpe shared that they were able to resolve their problems and are continuing working together. Although they had a difficult for a couple of months, they were ultimately able to overcome their differences and move past the conflict.
