Aaron Rodgers Calls Himself a” Big Fan” of the Pop Sensation Taylor Swift; The Star QB Will Also Attend Her Eras Tour

One of the biggest things to come out of the Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets deal was his confession about his love for pop sensation Taylor Swift. The Grammy-winning artist is on tour and will host a trio of concerts at MetLife Stadium, which is the home of the New York Jets and New York Giants. While the 33-year-old singer will dazzle the crowd with her musical-era hits, the star quarterback of the league will be one of the attendees at the concert because, recently, the former Super Bowl winner proclaimed himself as one of her biggest fans.

The former Green Bay Packers signal-caller appeared in an interview with Mad Dog Sports Radio. There, the 39-year-old revealed that he is a “big fan” of the ‘Anti-Hero’ singer.

Aaron Rodgers will sing his lungs out to Taylor Swift

Not only did he earn the respect of many other Swifties, he also picked his favorite album, song, and music video by the artist.

He said, “It’s really tough. I think my favorite album is ‘folklore’,” Rodgers said. “My favorite song off that album is probably ‘august,’ and my favorite music video is ‘I Bet You Think About Me,’ which came out recently like a year ago or so and a couple of my friends, Miles Teller and his wife were in it … I love that music video.”

Along with Rodgers, his Jets teammates were also asked about their favorite Taylor Swift albums or songs. Tight end C. J. Uzomah said he’s more of a “folklore guy”, while his other teammates named ‘22’ and ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ as their all-time favorites. However, Sauce Gardner couldn’t pick one because he doesn’t listen to her.

Hence, we can assume which players would attend the Taylor Swift Eras Tour with the quarterback.

Does Rodgers miss his former receiver, who disregarded him?

While he named his favorite songs and albums by Swift, he also named the best wide receiver in the league. As per Tzvi Machlin of The Spun, the back-to-back MVP winner named his former teammate, Davante Adams of the Las Vegas Raiders, as his “best receiver in the league.” Adams signed with the Raiders in the 2022 offseason, but before that, they were teammates who played with each other from 2014 through the 2021 season.

Rodgers said, “…And it’s not necessarily that close. There’s a couple of guys in that stratosphere but (Adams is) the best.

Even though Rodgers deemed Adams his favorite receiver, the former Packers WR did not necessarily feel that way, as after earning the All-Pro nod during his first campaign with his new team, he made it clear that his success was all because of his talented self and not because of a quarterback.

But Rodgers can trust the 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year, Garrett Wilson, whom he compared with Adams. The future Hall of Fame quarterback believes that the 22-year-old can one day become as accomplished as Adams and match his former teammate.

The New York Jets will play their first preseason game on August 19 against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will open the regular season at home against the Buffalo Bills on September 11.
