"Sell the Team Too": Colin Cowherd Faces the Wrath of NFL Fans for Advising Steelers to Give Up George Pickens & T.J Watt for Caleb Williams

USC Trojans‘ star Caleb Williams has solidified himself as a college football QB to watch out for. CBS has ranked him first pick in their 2024 NFL mock draft and is the top contender for this year’s Heisman. If he wins, he’ll be only the second player in college football history to earn the coveted trophy twice.

Adding to his list of growing achievements, his NIL valuation has reached a whopping $2.6M, landing him in the top 5 spot. The fashionable athlete who loves painting his nails and enjoys the fancy things in life revealed in an interview with GQ his absolute essential item. The 21-year-old revealed that his most essential item is a pair of headphones, but what makes those headphones so special?

Caleb William Integrates His Calming Routine with Special Headphones

Williams sat down with GQ for the iconic “My Essentials” segment of their YouTube channel to talk about the 10 things he can’t “live without.” The Heisman trophy winner’s customized Beats headphones made the top of the list. The black and golden Beats headphones have a bunch of customizations that make the pair extra special. The QB revealed the customizations on his favorite headphones,

“These right here are extremely special to me. Start it off, we got my signature on top, Caleb Williams, which is really cool. And, then on my inside, I got my number (#13), you know, my initials CW, which is five fingers, cause I paint my nails. You know, its part of my routine, during the week. You know, there’s a lot of noise during the week. There’s a lot of, you know, talking trash, and when you go to the nail salon, I can throw my Beats on and I can sit down and put my head back and kind of just let the nail tech go at it. The Heisman trophy is bronze so they wanted to attribute some headphones to the Heisman moment that I had, which was really cool of them.”

He revealed how his game week rituals are integrated with the headphones. Talking of his game week routine, he revealed that he likes getting his nails done. He uses his custom headphones to shut out the noise and just sit back and relax.

The athlete is known for his iconic nails. He even has his nails integrated with his initials, in a sort of logo format. Williams earlier explained to People why he paints his nails, “I’ve been doing it before college, but it took everybody by surprise, just because you don’t always see male athletes who play football paint their nails. But I think it’s just another way of expression.” His mother was a manicurist and used to paint his nails, which is where the routine probably started.

Interestingly, Caleb’s first deal after he transferred from Oklahoma to USC was with Beats by Dre, and he has only gained more footing since then.

Third-Highest NIL Valuated College Football Athlete

Ever since transferring to USC, Williams has inked NIL agreements with names like Athletic Brewing Company, Fanatics, Neutrogena, AT&T, Beats by Dre, Playstation, and AC+ION Water. But these are not even his most notable contracts.

The 21-year-old has bagged a Dr. Pepper contract this season and is part of this season of the soda company’s Fanville campaign. His most lucrative contracts are with United Airlines and PlayStation. And if the way he has been playing this season is any indication, his valuation is about to shoot up a whole lot.
