Carmelo Anthony’s Post-retirement Job Offer Makes Tom Brady ’s $375,000,000 Fox Deal Seem a Lot Less Surprising

When seven-time Super Bowl winner Tom Brady signed a whopping 10-year $375,000,000 deal with Fox Sports, fans went absolutely crazy. They were thrilled simply because more ‘Tom Brady on TV’ content was heading their way. While the NFL GOAT bagged a charming post-retirement job, it pales in terms of hilarity against NBA star Carmelo Anthony’s post-retirement gig.

Not long ago, Anthony announced that he was going to retire from the NBA after a two-decade run. However, it did not take long for the 12-time NBA All-Star to find a new job offer.

Carmelo Anthony’s deal makes Brady’s deal look a lot more serious!

The fifteen-time Pro Bowl winner will earn a whopping $375 million through his fantastic deal, which was going to come into effect after TB12’s retirement, but Brady then claimed that he would start his analyst job in 2024 because he needed some more time with his family.

While Brady is taking his sweet time to start a new position, Anthony was recently approached by an adult film company and was offered a job just hours after he announced his retirement. He was asked to take the responsibility of recruiting talent for the company.

The deal offered to Anthony is truly one-of-a kind and outright hilarious! It would be fair to say that he was offered this unique job mostly because of his larger-than-life personality off the field. The company would pay him $250,000 for one full year’s compensation and hard work. The NBA star has not responded to the inquiry publicly.

Tom Brady and the Raiders could partner up in two ways

While Anthony takes his time to respond to the lucrative deal, Tom Brady is getting ready for his future gig. He recently decided to become a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders, the team against which he started his and Patriots’ winning habit. In order to become a minority owner, the other owners of the NFL teams should approve his requests.

While that is still pending, another big news has come out regarding Jimmy G. The Raiders’ starting quarterback’s foot injury may indeed require surgery. With Garoppolo possibly out of the picture, NFL host and pundit Rich Eisen reckons Tom ‘the owner’ might take up QB duties in Vegas.

He said on the Rich Eisen Show, “It’s so amazing what a minority owner can do. Sometimes, they just bring their family and go to the games. Others put on a helmet.”

Although the suggestion was made in a playful manner, it would be outrageous to consider Brady ending his second retirement to play for the team he owns. Even though the thought of watching Tom Brady play again sounds exciting, it would require all 32 teams to approve his improbable return. Hence, at this point, it would be fair to say that there is no definite answer to the ‘Jimmy G’ situation.
