Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers is an outstanding athlete. The man knows how to drag his team out of tough situations by making plays out of nowhere. After all, winning back-to-back league MVP honors is not an easy task to accomplish.

However, the 2022 season hasn’t really turned out to be a fruitful one for the star quarterback. Time and again, he has been found wanting in pressure situations and the absence of an experienced wide receiver like Davante Adams hasn’t really made things any easier for Aaron.

The young receivers in the team clearly haven’t had the best of times with Aaron on the field and even the reigning MVP has made some questionable decisions during games.

Aaron Rodgers Will Probably Start Against Bears On Sunday

Moreover, recently, Aaron stated that he has been playing with a thumb injury and to make matters even worse, reports emerged that his recent rib injury might keep him out for a few games, at least.

Many experts saw this as a blessing in disguise for the Packers as they want to see Jordan Love getting more chances as the main QB of the unit.

In the last Packers game, Jordan did show glimpses of what he is capable of doing on the football field which made his case even stronger. Despite all this, Packers coach Matt LaFleur has stated that he expects Rodgers to start against the Bears coming Sunday.

NFL Insider Adam Schefter confirmed that the Packers coach is willing to play Aaron against Chicago Bears. As expected, several NFL fans weren’t happy with this as they want to see Jordan leading the way for Green Bay.

In any case, the Packers will most probably not make the playoffs so giving more chances to Jordan does actually makes sense. In fact, several fans also pointed out that back in 2007, Brett Favre’s era started moving towards the inevitable end and a young Aaron got his chance, so it is about time for Rodgers to pass the baton to Love.

It will be interesting to see who finally ends up starting against Chicago but if we go by latest reports, Love might have to wait for his turn a little more.
