It seems when he took those problems away with him when he retired, a group of people in the Bucs camp heaved a sign of relief.
Brady’s retirement may bring some relief and hopes for Bucs players
According to NFL insider Mike Florio, Tom Brady’s retirement has made some players relieved and hopeful about the next season. Talking on WDAE sports radio station, he said, “What a mess of distractions last year with everything that was going on with Brady. And to be free from that, to be beyond that, I think there’s going to be a lot of [Bucs] who are relieved, and rejuvenated and recharged this year.”
Of course, Florio admits that the players themselves are not going to publicly say it. Though, he believes it’s a feeling that is rampant in the Bucs‘ locker room. He said, “They’re not going to come out and say it, but I think they’re going to feel it, and I think that’s good for the Buccaneers,” Florio added about the vibe inside the team’s locker room. “
Tom Brady is all set to return to the NFL in a new role
Brady may have retired from playing football, but his involvement in the NFL is far from over. The last time he retired, he signed a 10-year, $375 million contract with Fox Sports to be their lead analyst. Now that he has finally and definitively hung up his cleats, he is all set to enter a whole new side of the NFL. One that he’s never experienced before.
