Russell Wilson is class act. The man has won innumerable games by doing some astonishing things on the football field. So when he left the Seahawks for the Broncos, everyone in Denver was over the moon.

Sales records of Russell Wilson Broncos jersey ended up breaking records. However, the ‘ride’ promised by Wilson to the Broncos fans is turning out to be a painful one.

Right from the word go, Russell has been absolutely abysmal this season. Denver’s offense has been one of the worst this year and on a consistent basis, they have failed to make plays. Their condition is so bad that they aren’t even averaging 15 points per game.

Moreover, the primetime slot fixed for the upcoming Broncos vs Chiefs game is now being given to Chargers vs Dolphins game so that the fans don’t have to watch another frustratingly below-average encounter.

Several Broncos Players Decided to Skip Russell Wilson’s Birthday Party

When the quarterback, who is expected to lead the team from the front, is going through such a rough patch, things are bound to go south in the locker room as well.

Not long ago, Mike Purcell was seen yelling at Wilson on the field which really forced many fans and experts to believe that something is not right between Wilson and his Broncos teammates.

Although both, Wilson and Purcell downplayed the incident, it is evident that many Denver players aren’t really fond of the former Seahawks hero. Amidst all this, another report has emerged which is not going to please a lot of Broncos fans.

As it turns out, Russell Wilson’s wife Ciara recently organized a grand birthday party for her beloved husband but half of the Broncos players decided not to go.

As per 9Sports’ Mike Klis, “Wilson’s wife Ciara threw him a birthday party last night and it looked like about half the team was there. On player’s day off.”

Moreover, the fact that the Broncos were so confident in Russell’s ability that they decided to offer him a massive $245 Million extension is frustrating the fans even more as without a doubt, Wilson has been one of the worst QBs this season.
