However, it was not the wedding many expected stars of their stature to have. Empathizing with her fans, Biles finally revealed why her wedding was such a secret.

Apparently, Biles met Owens through the dating app ‘Raya’, though the two had encountered each other before at a Texans game in 2019. Since then, Biles had been regularly updating her fans on Instagram about her relationship with Owens. Things reached an all-time high when Owens finally proposed to Biles on the 14th of February 2022. According to Biles, it was “the easiest yes”.
