Tom Brady, Aaron Judge & Jayson Tatum Join Hands to Give 9 Make-A-Wish Kids the Gift of a Lifetime

Tom Brady’s philanthropic pursuits haven’t taken a backseat post-retirement. The 7x SuperBowl winner has added another laurel to his tally as he partnered with Make-a-wish to surprise kids with critical illnesses. Make-a-wish and Fanatics partnered to help make the wishes of some lucky kids come true.

Along with Tom Brady, NBA great Jayson Tatum, and MLB superstar Aaron Judge also volunteered to give their time to the kids. The 3 athletes helped the children make some great memories with their idols.

Star Athletes Make Special Memories with Special Fans

The Make-A-Wish Foundation “grants wishes” for children with critical illnesses. It partnered with Fanatics for an event where 9 children got the chance to meet their sports heroes. From the videos shared from the event, the kids can be seen engaging with their idols in a gymnasium.

The star athletes gave the children a day of their lives, where they even got the chance to catch passes from Tom Brady, hit balls thrown by Aaron Judge, and dribble basketballs with Jayson Tatum. TB-12 shared the posts from his time at the event on his Instagram story as well.

Fanatics is a leading global digital sports platform. This was the first event of its kind and a part of the rollout of the partnership between the two companies. In a press release, it has been revealed that Fanatics will be Make-A-Wish’s “official sports partner” now. That means Fanatics will be helping fulfill the wishes of children who have sports-related wishes. This would include athlete meet-and-greets, such as this one, attending games, and spending time with athletes on All-Star Weekends. Fanatics also contributed $10M to the Foundation.

Tom Brady’s Philanthropic Endeavours

Tom Brady, through his TB-12 Foundation, aims to empower at-risk athletes to overcome economic or health-related obstacles to reach their performance goals. The aim of the foundation is to serve those who would not ordinarily be able to access or afford high-quality post-injury rehabilitation and/or performance enhancement training.

Earlier this year, Brady joined hands with Jameis Winston to support the Jill Kelley Foundation. The Jill Kelley Foundation helps support combat-wounded veterans and their families with front-row VIP access to Tampa’s world-famous Gasparilla Parade. The TB-12 Foundation made a substantial donation to this year’s event supporting the vets.
