Tom Brady Knee Injury: Tampa Bay Star Confident, “He’ll be able to do some different things this year” After Successful Knee Surgery
Tom Brady is back and apparently better than ever as he comes back from a knee injury that bugged him the entire 2020-21 NFL season.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers star underwent what was supposed to be a minor procedure on his knee, but it became apparent it was more than just “minor.”
If the procedure really had been something minor, it wouldn’t have bothered Brady for as long as it did. According to Brady, the injury has been something that’s been a problem since last year.
“It was an injury I dealt with really since last April, May. I knew I’d have to do something at the end of the year, and happy I did it.”
Now, that the Super Bowl MVP doesn’t have any nagging injury, Brady plans to be back and better than he’s ever been with Tampa Bay.
Brady also said, “I feel I’ll be able to do some different things this year that I wasn’t able to do last year.” https://t.co/swKW3t6g6r

Tom Brady Fired Up To Be Back & Healthy, Says Tampa Bay Buccaneers Haven’t Peaked Yet
Brady’s the ultimate competitor, and so there’s no person who could contain him. However, head coach Bruce Arians has been a little cautious with Brady after he comes back from his injury:
“I had to pull him out a couple [times]. The first period I said, ‘Okay, you can have four,’ and he kept begging to go back in. The only thing I didn’t want him in was the blitz period where there was some guys that might get around him too quick.”
Of course, you’d expect Brady to beg to go back into the game, but at this point it’s better to keep him healthy and a 100% safe for the upcoming NFL season. If Brady could throw for over 4,000 yards and 40 touchdowns while leading the Buccaneers to a Super Bowl in his first year.
Now that he has a full offseason ahead of him and is recovered, Brady truly believes the Buccaneers can be better than they were last year. Brady knows the Buccaneers can’t get complacent now after winning a Super Bowl.
They’ve become the targets of the league, and everyone will be looking to topple them to reach NFL glory. Tom Brady has repeated before in his career, but he knows it takes a lot of effort and the Bucs will have to work hard to get there.
“I feel like we’re not finished products. It was really our first opportunity to play together last year and there’s a lot of opportunity for us to grow into something that could be very different.”
The Buccaneers improving after what they did last year? That’s a scary thought to think about, but if anyone can pull it off, it’s Tom Brady.
