"UNDISPUTED, or the Patrick Mahomes Hate Club?": LeSean McCoy Might Join Skip Bayless Once Shannon Leaves & Chiefs Fans Are Not Pleased

‘The Undisputed’ stars Shannon Sharpe and Skip Bayless are actually having a bit of a dispute which apparently isn’t going to end well for the fans who loved watching them shout over each other. Known as one of the most dynamic analyst duos, Skip and Shannon are reportedly breaking up as the former Tight End has apparently finalized a contract buyout deal with FOX. As it turns out, in place of Shannon, we might get to see ‘SPEAK’ analyst LeSean McCoy on the show. However, this update hasn’t pleased many Patrick Mahomes fans.

LeSean, popularly known as ‘Shady,’ played in the NFL for over a decade as a Running Back, winning two championships during his tenure. The 6x Pro Bowler then transitioned seamlessly into the broadcaster’s role and became renowned for his fiery takes on ‘Speak For Yourself.’ However, as per recent reports, fans might get to see him alongside notorious Skip Bayless in the coming days.

LeSean McCoy might replace Shannon Sharpe on the Undisputed

As reported by FrontOfficeSports, LeSean’s name is on the list of broadcasters who are being considered as Shannon Sharpe’s possible replacements. “McCoy is expected to have an extended audition with the irascible Bayless once Sharpe takes his contractual buyout from Fox Sports,” FOS’ report stated.

However, this update has irked several Kansas City fans. Skip is someone who almost always takes shots at Mahomes. In fact, even after ‘injured’ Mahomes guided his unit to its 2nd championship win in his 6 seasons and took the Super Bowl MVP honors, Skip had reacted to it by saying, “the harder I look at Patrick Mahomes’ performance in the Super Bowl, the less impressive it looks.”

McCoy on the other hand, has also preferred appreciating other star QBs instead of Mahomes on a few occasions. “If Josh Allen played for the Chiefs with Tyreek Hill, Travis Kelce, and Andy Reid, do you think they win a championship?” LeSean had famously stated in September last year on SPEAK, suggesting that on an individual level, Allen might be better than Patrick. Hence, a fan recently pointed out that the Undisputed might turn into Patrick Mahomes hate club, as both McCoy and Bayless will probably not go easy on the KC superstar.

What went wrong between Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe

‘The Undisputed’ is a show that demands high vocals and high patience. However, even the ones well-equipped with these two skills, can struggle to keep with the pace of show, if someone takes a personal shot, which is exactly what transpired in Skip and Shannon’s case.

Both the analysts have had several fiery debates over the years, but when Skip once referred to Shannon as someone who is jealous of Tom Brady’s achievements, things really ended up going out of hands. To make it even worse, Skip made a controversial Tweet about Damar Hamlin, who suffered a near-fatal collapse during a game last season against the Bengals.

While there are several other instances when the decibel levels went way too high when these two conversed, the instances mentioned above allegedly played a major role in really pushing Sharpe to call it quits.
